Late April early May, just beyond southwest PA

Looking to hitch early this year; and travel to the warmth. Willing to go as far south as the southern OH state line, half way through WV, maryland, northern tip of Virginia. Any suggestions for a great campground, that caters to young children?

Looked at Jellystone, but learned that there are no Jellystone's in either WV, or OH.

Anyone (from the north east) have some favorite spots they go to April to find warmer weather, for a weekend?

Candy Hill is an OK campground in Winchester VA. The North South Skirmish Association (check their web site) has its Spring Nationals Competition (Civil War live fire competition) from May 14 - 19. On Saturday you can watch the Carbine & Cannon Team matches then on Sunday the Musket teams compete. Winchester is history rich and only a stones throw from Antietam & Harper's Ferry. You can start teaching your kids an appreciation of our great country's history.
