Try resetting it. The most effective way to do that seems to be remove all power, shore and battery.

press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the system reboots then let go

Only thing I can say is cheap electronics, early generation technology. You basically just did a control/alt/delete reset on a computer. In early days of computers, I remember doing that a lot. As technology progressed, I can say it’s been years since I last did that.

A 2022 model year won’t have early technology. The issues with InCommand seem to be ongoing from first generation to current. Personally I wouldn’t buy a new trailer if it had it.

Early technology because they haven’t done much to update/upgrade the system. The “new” generation is supposed to be better, personally, I haven’t seen much difference.

I think it has been “updated” a couple of times, but anyway, lots of people including myself think it still sucks.

Right there with you. I don’t know what they do when they update it, but whatever it is, it doesn’t seem to fix many of the problems. if it does fix one thing, it just seems to create a new problem. I think the system is still old technology with very little R&D done over the years. Heck, look at the size of the control board, dang thing doesn’t do that much and has a board the size of a 1960 “super computer”.

If you can find the control center for Lippert’s “One Control” it isn’t any more compact.

Gaddis, just a suggestion but if you ask for help, putting the subject of the problem you need help with will make searching easier for someone who may not remember your username when they are searching for a solution. Hope you get things figured out.

I just had a PTSD flashback from reloading MS windows Vista. I kept the disks on the desk as it seemed like it would crash and corrupt the OS weekly. Maybe those software folks got jobs doing RV work?

Count me in the group of people who think it sucks. I’m super disappointed with the iN·command system.
