DSI FLT light error

Hey everyone,

Own a 2013 Keystone Cougar. The DSI FLT error light came on towards the end of our last camping trip. Propane tank is full and on. Went to the owner's manual which was useless and didn't mention this at all.

Update: When I go manually light the pilot light the DSI FLT goes away and the propane is burning. When I turn it off and back on again, I get the same DSI FLT error again so I suspect this is a problem with the igniter itself. How do I fix this so I don’t have manually light it every time?

Just to be clear, are you talking about the DSI ignition circuit on your water heater, refrigerator or furnace ????

If igniter isnt firing (can be heard from outside at water heater) then pull the igniter and check the gap adjustment... if its ok then start looking at the connections on the water heater igniter module board or igniter itself..

I worked with an old tech that swore wiping the igniter ceramic with WD-40 would fix them. I saw it actually work a few times.
