Broken Step

just set up last Friday and exiting the RV i heard a loud pop. then the top step went crooked. it looks like the right front rivit let go any ideas to fix or just scrap and replace. hickory springs will not warenty or fix it. i can replace it for $180 thanks

Here's what I did. A bolt. Flat washers and a nylock nut. Works so well thinking about drilling out the other rivvetts.

Randy69 looks like you used a washer at the bolt, in between, and at the nut? and what size bolt 1/4-20 or 5/16-18??

there is a recall on certain steps, you may be one of them....
