Getting some upgrades
Took the Fuzion to the dealership to get some Mach 8's installed so I can get it in the shop I'm going to have them install my solar panel while it is there and they're replacing a coupe of the graphics that were messed up when we first got it.
Also got to have them check the generator as it shuts itself off every couple hours when we were running it. I did have some major issues with the genny when we first got the coach but then it just started working and now it has a fault code. I'm confident they will get it sorted.
Getting excited to get it back and back it in the shop. LOL.. 12'10 door.

I will be interested to see how this turns out. I have a 371 on the way and the 13'2" height has been a concern of mine. The biggest thing is that the main highway to my house has a height restriction of 13' max. Let us know your overall height after the Mach 8's. From what I can tell they should work with the existing ceiling assemblies. Did you verify the stock height is 13'2"?

Yes I have verified it at 13'1". I'm kinda excited to back it in the shop. I actually have a 14' door in the middle of the shop but I want the rv on the outside. Dealer made me a better offer to put the Mach 8's on than I could have bought them myself.
I'm surprised to hear you say 13'2 when all the paper work I have seen says 13'1. on the 2014 models that is.

Well the latest brochure I have says 13'3" and I have seen it on the web at 13'2" so it is somewhere around there. So how much lower will it be with the Mach 8's? I was looking around online and those models are pricey. They are over 900 each!! GULP!

Goes to show how much I know. I thought mach 8's were some type of tire. I had to look it up to see it is a low profile AC unit. Interesting.

Mach 8 is suppose to be 8" that makes it 9" above the roof and the stock ones are 12 to 13" .
The tires on these things are second to none. Super heavy duty Saliun G rated 235's. There is a thread in the tire section about them. They come standard with 110# of air in them.
I don't know what you plan on pulling yours with but these things roll down the road around 15k + fully loaded with toys, gear and water. I'm seriously considering an upgrade to a dually. I mean the diesel with air bags pulls it just fine but it IS a lot of weight.

You will have to post some pics when you get her back. This may be an off-season upgrade for me.
I have a 12 F350 Dually that I will be pulling with. I bought the truck way before we decided on what 5er we would buy. I didn't want the truck as the limiting factor.

Thats awesome! It looks like you have some room to spare on that 12'10" door as well. Do you know if they changed out the ceiling assembly? From looking at the chart, it looks like the existing ceiling assys will work. I do see a different number for the heat strip though...

That's some pretty powerful x-ray vision you have there glipinbrewer.
In fact they were able to use the existing ceiling assemblies and which kept the costs down quite a bit. Far as the heat strip goes I do see one laying in the back of the unit so I assume they had to put a different one in.
kinda hard to tell from the pic but the closest thing to hit while backing in is the hump on the dish travler mount. It comes within a 1/4 inch from brushing the rubber strip on the door wipe.
So anyone wanna buy some Mach 3's, make you a good deal on them.

So wish they'd put the low profile in them from the get-go....I'd love to be under 13'. Looks great!

I'm actually 12' 9 1/2 inches, and the highest point is the dish travler. AC's are at least an inch lower.
