Genturi eyestrap bracket mounting

I installed a genturi on my Raptor last summer. Now the double sided tape adhesive is no longer holding the eyestrap brackets in place & I don't really want to drill into the gelcoat to support them if I don't have to. Has anyone else run into this and if so, what did you do?

Thanks in advance!

Did you use the heavy duty double sided tape?

Actually I used what came with the kit, using the alcohol wipes first before applying the brackets and letting them sit for 24 hrs before using them. worked well since last summer but now they are letting go.

I understand 3M makes doublesided tape for installing ornaments to the exterior of automobiles that is the best thing for surface installing things to the outside walls, much better than ordinary tape products. It would make sense that the tape would be exposed to very high temps which would cause early failure of most tapes. 3M Super Strong Automotive Attachment Tape.

You could use red high temp silione on the orginal double sided tape that won't break down in the sun or heat.
