Travel Trailer Discount Off of MSRP?

Hello. I'm in negotiation with a Keystone dealer in Southern California (first time buyer) for a Passport 2810bhwe. I am interested in collecting information regarding the discount off of the MSRP or Dealer List Price I should expect. Would you please take a quick SurveyMonkey to assist me with my negotiation? I will post the survey results. Thanks you.

I would post my information on here, I have enough computer problems already without going onto unknown sites. Also on here everyone gets to read it as printed.

What advice would you give when negotiating with a RV dealer?

ANSWERS:

Buy according to the floor plan that best fits your desires. Do not get hung up on brand name.

get quotes from multiple wholesalers and dealers

Google msrp for exact model you are making offer on then take average. Every dealer sets their own msrp, unlike car dealers where msrp are set by manufacturer.

Shop the same trailer at as many dealers as you can find. Apples vrs Apples.

Other items to negotiate:

Discount the install of WD hitch

If dealer stores rv's in off season.....negotiate 3, 6, 12 months free storage...no cost to them.
