First outing with Passport

Well I had my first camping trip and it went great EXCEPT for the the black/grey labels being flipped and the two valves that were not tightened at the factory...with it being brand new and with the manual reminding me that all faucets have been tested, etc. One would think everything would be in working order. Both the hot water valve and the valve to the cook center were not tight! We had water all weekend and had to use towels to keep things dry. Needless to say, we have added more tools to the camper.

When you did the Pre-Delivery Inspection, did you ask that the water system be tested during the walk-through at the dealership? The folks there should have had water in the system ready to show you that all faucets were in proper working order. Sometimes during delivery, valves and other fittings work loose and this should have been spotted during the inspection and walk-through.

Too bad that this was missed and you had to spend time and effort mopping up water.

Mislabeled tank valves seem to be, for some strange and unknown reason, a challenge for Keystone. Someday, I hope they will get it right. It's not all that difficult!

What model Passport do you have? We have the 2300 BH 26'. We've been out in it once and are getting ready for a trip in a couple weeks.

The labels on our tank releases were correct, just lucky, I guess

My passport 2920bh GT had the labels backwards. I switched the stickers and also painted the rear valve hand grey as I'm sure the stickers will fall off.

I haven't had any issues yet with water leaks, just too long a vent hose on the fresh water fill.

glad you like passport. I love ours.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the first outing, more or less
It's quite a learning curve for us new owners, isn't it?
