recalls

Hey folks. Went to the hershey, pa show and traded my 2014 bullet for a 2023 cougar 33rli unit. I am awaiting delivery date and would like to know if there are any recalls that might affect it .Also feel free to give me any feedback on my choice , good or bad i can take it.

If you are honestly lookin for feedback, that is a long bumper pull at almost 38' and 10500 gross weight. Hopefully your tow vehicle is capable with payload and should be a heavy duty truck due the length (the HD truck is heavier than a half ton). As far as a 2023 model camper, doubt there has been a recall.

Well looking at his profile I think a 2010 Ram 3500 CTD CC DRW, should get the job done!

After 27 posts, perhaps time to put together a signature so the information is our front.

Three Keystone trailers in 18 years and never had a recall.........they are very good quality, have lots of desirable features and good customer service. The 2023 cougar 33rli looks like a lot of trailer with opposing slides in the living room, fireplace, island, theater seats, large bathroom and king size bed.

what would be the benefit of going with such a long trailer if you have a 1 ton truck? personally i’d go with a fifth wheel…unless your planning on carrying a golf cart or atv in the truck bed…the truck and trailer is a longer rig then a fifth wheel and the same truck and a fifth wheel tows so much better

I have a raised cap on this truck and constantly use the 8 ft bed for many different things so a gooseneck or a 5ver bed setup would negate its use

All fifth wheel hitches are removeable. The easiest one to remove is a gooseneck since it is relatively light and that is why most 5'ers select that goosneck hitch.

With all the frame flex issues and cracks walls at the front slide no way would I tow a keystone fifth wheel with a gooseneck hitch. Plus most goosenecks will void any warranty from Lippert and a keystone should a frame flex issue occur resulting in cracked Filon sidewall

Looks to me like you did very well, beautiful unit, enjoy! Very similar layout to our 315RLS and we've been very happy with it.
