Slide out stops and overheats, smoking

I have a 2007 Keystone Copper Canyon FW with hydraulic system for slide outs. 2 slides that run off same switch. Bedroom always moves first without a problem, then living room stops multiple times. The last time I opened it, smoke came from underneath…ideas on either problem or are they related?

Welcome to the forum. Smoke comes from under under what? Under the trail? Under the sofa, under ??? Is there a smell associated with this smoke? Wires burning will have a very acrid odor. With hydraulics a pin hole leak will spray a mist of oil that may look like smoke but will have an oil smell similar to automatic transmifonn fluid. Can you hear the hydraulic pump running? Checked the hydraulic fluid level?

Smoke coming from under the trailer. Just smelled like something burning. Didn’t last long maybe 10 seconds and was gone. Hydraulic fluid level is good, no signs of a leak.

I would remove some of the screws holding the underbelly. Then have someone operate the slide while you watch with a strong flashlight.
