New Sprinter 25ml owner!

My husband and I just picked up our Keystone Sprinter 25ml. We just sold a much larger rig last year as we wanted to downsize. We have way more truck than we need for the new fiver, but husband didn't want to downsize that, lol. So we will be pulling with a 2019 Ram 3500. I am looking forward to gleaning lots of useful information from fellow Keystone owners.

Welcome to the forum! You mention your pickup is more than needed but your new Sprinter is 12000 lbs gross weight. Actual pin weight is approximately 23 percent of your gross weight so in the neighborhood of 2800 lbs. Add hitch, passengers and stuff in your truck and you will have close to 4000 lbs payload. Payload capacities vary a whole lot and it depends on how your particular truck was equipped. The actual payload capacity is on a yellow/white placard inside the driver door frame. Check that out and you may see that your truck isn't really "more than needed". Anyway, you should be OK but many of the one tons out there have less than 4000 lbs payload; especially the fancy ones (fancy eats payload). Good luck!
