Shower door rubber closure "thing"

We have an ordinary corner shower, the two curved doors pull to the center to close. The two knobs are chromed, circular, knobs maybe an 1-1/4in to 1-1/2in in diameter. There's a rubber piece fastened behind the knob on the right and a loop of rubber you slip over the knob on the left. The rubber broke.

Does anyone know a source for this, or a proper name I can use to search the internet? "Rubber thingy" has not been successful.

Ours only lasted about one month. I use a piece of wire tie. If you want to go fancier you could use a child lock.

Or, you could go really crazy and buy the overpriced piece that broke, and buy it again, and buy it again.

I had one on my shower, which broke in first year. I found a small bungee cord about 5” or so long. It goes around the knobs perfectly and holds them shut tight.

I've purchased gear ties for this purpose. They are pretty cheap ($6 for a 2-pack of 18-inch ties).
