Water Drip 2017 Springdale 302FWRK

Took my 5th wheel out from under covered storage. Noticed water dripping from underbelly approximately under sink area. There is a square cutout in the underbelly with a cover screwed over the cutout. The water is dripping from there. Have not had a chance to get under and remove the cover yet. Anyone have an idea what might be up there leaking water? RV is not hooked up to any water source and pump is and has been off.

That square "screwed on cover" is probably the access hatch for your slide motor/ram components.

It's likely that you have a fresh water tank and probably a gray water tank also in that area. From your description, you didn't mention any "foul smells" so chances are this is not a black tank issue....

That said, the coroplast belly cover is "waterproof" so any leak from above it could be coming from any area of the trailer that is "higher than the physical leak"... (water runs downhill, so it could be flowing on top of the coroplast from as far as the opposite end of the trailer)…

I'd suggest first removing that cover, use a flash light and see what you find. Try to determine if the leak is "fresh, clean water" or "gray water" which will help you narrow your search for the source.

Often times the source of a leak is a fitting or connector and not the actual tank, so you may luck out and find a loose hose clamp, a loose fitting on the water heater or water pump or ????
