I don't know how far back the anti-sway and anti-roll electronics have been offered on the Ford SuperDuty trucks, and when those features were incorporated into the EBC. I know on the newer trucks (my 2013 and 2015) those features made a "world of difference" in brake controller functionality. Whether or not those features are on the 2005 model trucks???? You might want to do some "studying up" on the features and use in the truck owner's manual. If you don't have it, you can download the complete manual and the diesel supplement (if you're looking at a diesel) on the Ford site. Here's the link to the entire 2005 SuperDuty manual set: https://owner.ford.com/tools/account...ntVehicle=true
