Question Ready to take delivery of 291TG

Hello everyone.

I am about ready to pick up my new 2011 291tg. This is not my first TT but it is the first new one. I was wondering what I should be looking for as I do the initial walk through with the dealer. Do I need to have them run everything....heat....A/C etc. What is the common practice for things I may find that are in proper working. Any and all comments are welcome.

Soooo excited for the new rig.....

Good choice, coach. There's a PDI checklist on here somewhere.
The basic is turn EVERYTHING on/off, open/close, etc, to get what your paying for

The PDI checklist that Slimshadie referred to in his post above is available - courtesy of Flyguy - at this site:
http://eaa1358.com/Passport/Pre-Deli...0Checklist.pdf You can download this, print it off and take it with you when you do your walk-through. Don't give them your $$$ and drive if off the lot until everything that needs fixing, adjusting or replacing is carried out to your satisfaction.

And welcome to the forum!

Thanks guys. The checklist will be a big help. Just called the dealer and I am scheduled to pick up on March 16th. Can't wait. I will keep you updated on the new rig.

I have the new TT home and can not believe how happy I am with it so far. Can't wait till the season begins for us. One question(so far). Does anyone use a support for the slide or is it not necessary. The thing goes out so far and is gigantic.

Hey Coach, you don't need any support for that slide. It's built to stand alone. Just try to be level before extending it. ENJOY!
