electric brakes

I have a 2014 2500HD Silverado 6.0 gas. I for some reason have lost the power to the plug for the electric brakes. all the fuses check out ok. all the blades in the plug have power in the right spots, just no power to the brake blade which is located in the right lower side. anyone had this problem? thanks for any help. everyone has always had a answer for problems. brake controller was built in the truck when I purchased it. I hooked up to my cousins 5th wheel this evening and the brakes worked. I checked the cord on my 5th wheel and the ground blade looks like it is bent in. I will change out the cord tomorrow and I think my problem will be over I hope! what is weird the brake blade in the plug in the pickup would not check out with my tester.
