Slide repair

Looks like my living room slide must have caught some debris and the eternabond tape is peeling off at the corner, about 2 feet right at the end of the slide. Wondering if instead of peeling off the whole 12feet if I could peel off 3 feet and overlap the Eternabond tape

I would not hesitate to do exactly as you suggest. I would use tape an inch wider than what's already there and overlap several inches on to the existing tape.

Check carefully for any disturbed caulk or tiny slits in the Dicor membrance, too.
