2012 Raptor MP300 started blowing the towing running lights 15 amp fuse in the truck

I've had my 2012 Raptor MP300 since 2013. Only once in the very beginning did it blow the 15 amp trailer towing running light fuse on the truck.

Now it blows instantly - 2011 3/4 ton Chevy Duramax. The fuse is okay pulling my side by side trailer and boat, so it is not on the truck.

How do you trouble shoot where the problem is?

A big thanks for any suggestions on this great forum!

Have you looked around for a wire that may have a break in the insulation? It's possible you're getting an occasional grounding or arcing.

X2 a wire could have been rubbing and now the wire is bare and touching the frame. Do you have a lens that is either off or cracked and you have had some rain. (socket filled with water). I assume when running lights off fuse will not blow, lights turned on and fuse blows. Any other event that causes fuse to blow like turn signals on?

Not how pigtail is connected? in bed for Raptor off bumper for other trailed two different plugs? If so have you tried hooking Raptor into bumper plug instead of bed?

I had the same problem. Water in the light socket corroded the running light and blew the fuse. Replaced bulb which fixed the short and replaced fuse.
