Winterizing fresh water tank

Hi,

Is it necessary to pour anti-freeze in the fresh water tank,
or is it enough just to drain it?
Could there be some water left in some places even after it has been drained?

Last year I just drained it and I didn't have any problems.
But it may just be luck...

It is not necessary to pour any RV antifreeze into your FW tank. Just drain it and leave the drain valve in the open position. Any water that remains in the tank has plenty of room to expand if it should freeze. There may a small amount of water sitting in the lowest portion of the tank that is unable to drain out but not enough to worry about.

Come Spring, sanitize your tank and you'll be fine.
