Slideout manual over ride

Has anyone had to over ride the electrical motor on their Laredo 299BH? I'm curious has to how it's done. I've looked at videos on youtube, I believe my 2015 model has the motor over the slide out room, however, the flexible 1/4 drill attachment is not long enough to reach the motor, the front fascia of the slide out room is in the way. Am I missing something?

Your not missing anything. 1/4" drive extensions are cheap and easy to get. If you have more than one slide, look over the motors of the other ones. The factory often times tapes the override to the motor of each slide, and if the tech isn't paying attention, you may have multiple flex drives.

There are times that removal of the facia is required.
