I use "Wet and Forget" mold and mildew remover to clean the house siding and have used it on the foundation (concrete) to clean it also. I've never used it on the awning or roof. This is just my opinion, but if there's "dirt and stain" on white vinyl, just spraying it with a couple ounces of "cleaner" might bleach it white, but would do little to remove the accumulation of "bleached dirt". Wet and Forget is designed to spray on and forget it (no rinsing). I just don't know what any "chemical compound" would do to vinyl if it was left on and allowed to dry.
I use dawn/warm water, extend the awning, lower it to the lowest setting, hose off the awning, brush the dawn/water solution on the awning top, roll it up for half an hour, extend, brush it again and rinse well with clear water.
If you don't have "mold stains" on the underside, rolling it up will get the soapy solution on the bottom and just a clear rinse is all that's needed to get the soap off.
After that, once it's dry, I spray 303 on the top and roll it up again while wet. That gets "some" 303 on the underside of the awning as well.
