How do I clean a day/night shade

One of my day/night shades (the day one) has a stain from liquid eye glass cleaner that spilled when the lid came off in the cabinet above it. How do I clean it - specifically without having to take the whole thing down?. It's not a large stain - softball size maybe but is quite noticeable when the shade is down. I thought about Oxyclean - spray it on and watch (hopefully) the stain disappear.....I haven't tried anything yet - was hoping for some great advice here first

Pappydude, Howdy;

Not a clue ..... but interested in what folks have to suggest.
Please keep us appraised of what you discover.

Pappydude,
Well, the easiest way, is to get somebody else to do it.

On a more somber note, I doubt it is a cleanable stain. That stuff you spilled on it has probably discolored the fabric (like bleach would).
Hope I'm wrong.

Pappydude: If you want to use the Oxyclean, I would suggest spraying onto a Q-tip and apply to a small area of the stain. What do you have to loose. Just a suggestion, never tried myself.

Was the lens cleaning solution clear or colored like Windex? I'm thinking it is like a stained ceiling tile. Perhaps there was dust/dirt on the shade and the liquid allowed it to penetrate the fabric? Don't know how 'colorfast' these shades are.
A mild detergent solution and a soft bristle brush, wetting the shade as little as possible? Good luck. Please let us know the outcome for future reference

Well, I have some suggestions to try - not looking forward to it because I don't want to make a bigger stain than what's there. The weather here in Oregon has been in the mid-high 90's the past week or so and expected to continue. I'll have to tackle this in the early morning hours.
1) getting someone else to do it would be an option - if I could.
2) the eye glass cleaner was a light blue similar to Windex but not as dark. Yes, it's sorta soapy........
I'll try Oxyclean first.....
I'll post the results.........when I have something, good or bad.
