Dielectric

Opinion on using dielectric compound on your shore line plug connections. Anyone do this?

Yes. It helps a lot in humid environments. I used to have frequent problems with the trailer connector until I started using it.

Yes .... It reduces corrosion and arcing ... also use it on all 12v bulbs and the 7pin connector and cable F connectors. It can't hurt except for attracting dirt and dust.

I also use it on the RV side of the shoreline cord. Once before I started using it I could not get that dang cord unplugged from the RV due to some corrosion. Now I put that stuff on everything!

I tried using it on everything, but it gave me a rash. So, I now just use it on electrical connections. ............. I think I better have a few more cups of coffee.
