new faucets

Hi,

Have just purchased a used 2007 Cougar 5th wheel. Decided the shower faucets looked kinda worn and loose so replaced them. The only difference is that the water outlet on the new set are positioned underneath the taps whilst the previous taps had the water outlet at the top. Now we find that there is virtually no pressure coming from the shower head. Should the location of the water outlet make any difference. I would have thought not. Has anybody had any experience such as this???

Welcome to the forum

The position of the feed to the shower shouldn't matter. Have you checked for debris in the hose assembly?

Maybe take the shower hose off, and then turn the water on and direct the pressure to the shower. USE A TOWEL so it doesn't spray everywhere and check for obstructions. These things are plastic and debris can get into them during the manufacturing process.

Thanks very much. Will certainly try the action you have suggested. Nice to hear from you.

I would also check for debris in the end of the hand held head after you disconnect the hose from the faucet.some times they have a flow restricted in the end and collect debris cutting down on flow. to the forum!
