Loose slide cables?

I noticed the cables on my 2009 Passport 290BH are loose when the slide is all the way out. Are the cables supposed to be tight with the room extended? The slide functions perfectly otherwise.

sometimes mine are tight, sometimes they are loose; but as long as the slide works correctly I don't get worried..

There are a total of 8 cables on this type of system, 4 pulling in and 4 pulling out, when in out position, the outside cables should have a little sag in them and the inside cables will be tight, when pulling in they do the opposite. The info on your system is at http://norcoind.com/bal/products/oem...de/index.shtml
