No Pilot Light In Oven
I just bought a 2007 3400 RL and i cannot get the pilot light in the oven to
light. It worked on our first trip and i ran out of propane. I swapped bottles
and i am pretty sure that i got all the air out of the lines. Any suggestions???

Yes. Everything else works. Furnace, water heater, and range.

lighting method will vary slightly, depending on the oven make/model. For some you have to be sure you're pushing in the knob while it's in the pilot light position (doing so for 10+ secs) and be sure you're holding flame to proper place.
Trailer family had for over 20 yrs, you didn't have to hold in knob. Trailers we've had since, have had to hold it in. First few times with newer ones had me pulling out my hair.
Hope that helps

And it it hasn't been used for some time, I often have to hold the knob in for a minute or so until the gas finally come though.

When I'm struggling with lighting the pilot, I just turn the oven on to 300 or so and keep hitting it with my lighter flame until it catches. The feeble flow of the pilot sometimes takes a long time, but the greater flow of the oven burner makes it light pretty quick.

hmmm - the main burner should not have gas flow unless he thermocouple has been heated by the pilot first -- This is a safety feature! Do you have a safety problem with your oven?

had a problem 2
the thermocouple has to get hot and magnetize the control valve form the pilot light to stay lit. yep its to keep you from getting blown up. mine wouldn't light at first I checked the connection at the control valve loosened it and blew it out then tightened it back down. now it has worked flawlessly. make sure the locking nut is tight. btw the control valve is where the knob is you will see the little copper line going into the aluminum valve

I would say if you can light the main burner without heating up the thermal coupler (which the pilot light does)you have a problem. Better get it fixed before you forget and leave the oven on and the flame is out- you will ether gas your self to death or blow your self up!
