furrion antenna....sort of
I am new to this forum. I have a Keystone Passport 2210rb with an omnidirectional Furrion. I am really disappointed as it does not really seem to have any use. There is no boost ( the previous Furrion had a boost button) and I have ultimately used my phone as a hotspot for viewing. I get that TV is not the central reason to be outdoors, however I also want the darn thing to work. Has anyone found an aftermarket that makes these things useful? If not can anyone suggest replacement antenna that might work? Or a workaround? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum
I’m sure your antenna has a boost button somewhere. It may take some hunting, don’t assume it’s where the “main” tv coax outlet is.

Thanks. I agree it might be hidden. Just can't seem to find it.

If you don’t have KeyTV then there will be a plate with a button, somewhere. I've read reports of folks finding them inside cabinets so it may not be evident at first glance.

Behind my TV is a cabinet which is only available when the TV is unstrapped.
Inside that cabinet in the back, up at the top is the boost button.
I have to stand on the dinette to reach it and I'm 5' 10".
Stupid placement.
I don't think a 2010RB exists. Are you sure of the model?

Thanks. It is a 2210RB. Oops! I checked the cabinet and found no button. I am familiar with the power boost as our previous Keystone did have that. I will keep looking though!

I just watched YouTube review and they mentioned KeyTV in a locked compartment on the back wall near the spare tire. The door looks similar to an outside shower. If that's correct then there would not be a switch inside.

Just located this. It is where you mention. Do I guess this means the power boost is built in an no switch exists.

If you do indeed have KeyTV then there is no booster switch. There should be power going to the module if the blue light is on.
Lots of threads about KeyTv, and the issues/fixes.

If you have KeyTV there is no boost button. I have KeyTV and an omni-directional antenna and I don't like it.

I think the implication here (probably lost on new guests who haven't been watching all the threads roll by) is that if you have KeyTV, your problem is quite likely that your KeyTV is bad. t's supposed to manage such things (like power to the antenna) automatically, but fails way too often. As a result, instead of being a "labor saving device" it becomes a device that removes all control over a system you could easily have rectified manually.

FYI: Not TV related but one place to look for trailer model specifics is on Facebook group "Keystone Passport 2210RB Trailer Owners".
