Slideout mechanism

Hi all,
On my 08 Keystone 294RLS, the slideout seems to elevate slightly (tip up) when fully closing at max closing limit. When opening it at max opening limit, it seems to do the same thing. This is only for the last inch or so of movement either way. To clarify when retracting and looking from the inside the top of the slideout lifts, and when extending and looking from inside the top of the slide lowers slightly.

The alignment is at each end is within 1/4" horizontally.

The pump does seem to work harder the first 10 inches or movement both in and out. No weird noises or jittering.

Is this normal?
There doesn't seem to be a limit switch on the slideout mechanism (Lippert). The manual says the pump stops a few seconds after reaching the extremes.

Thanks,
Paul

Normal... the bottom of the slide floor rises on a Teflon “ramp” that lets slide out move smoothly. Once it gets fully extended it comes down off the Teflon slide ramp and
Same when it retracts

Regarding the hydraulic pump watch the slides and when motion has stopped completely you will hear sound of pump change as pump rpm lowers. Let go is switch at this point

There are NO limit switches on the hydraulic slideouts but there is a pressure switch on the manifold that “should” turn hyd pump motor off once pressure has built up to its preset HI LIMIT.
