Moryde 3000 suspension. Tires almost touching

Hi everyone. I have been fighting this new suspension issue for a bit. Almost lost a rear axle as you can see. Upgraded the shackles and bushings from plastic to brass plus wet bolts.
My issue is that my unit when lowered onto the ground off the jacks the suspension rocks fully to one side. This is on level flat ground.
What is causing this? It forces the wheels so close they are almost touching.

Any tips on how to prevent this?
Notice all the wear on my old shackles was on the rear axle. I have a tri axel fusion 404. With a moryde 3000 setup.
Why would only my rear axle be the only one with such excessive wear? I'm thinking something is wrong there. The shackles don't seem flipped or anything.

Any help is appreciated.

A couple of things to ask about:

1. You say this is a "new suspension problem" that happened AFTER you changed out the suspension shackles and bushings (and it was not like this before the change) ?????

2. You say this only occurs when you lower the trailer onto the tires/axles and that you've checked and there are no "inverted shackles"....

I'd ask, are you POSITIVE that the shackles are the correct length and that they are all in the correct position ??? It looks like, in your second photo, there is no shackle on the forward (right side) spring where it inserts in the CRE3000 equalizer. Are you positive that you installed shackles that are the correct length AND in the correct location ????

If there are no "inverted shackles" and all the shackles are the correct length (on some trailers there can be two different length shackles) and that the shackles are properly installed in the correct axle/hanger position.... It looks to me (a guess not a known fact) that there are shackles where they aren't supposed to be or there are missing shackles where they were before and aren't now......

Yup picture #2 tells you where to start. The next time you do a job like that where you're unfamiliar with what's going on take lots of pictures before, during and after. Over the years I've come to write down and photograph say "front axle, curb side before disassembly" for that series of pictures. That way you will be able to easily identify what the pictures.

If you look at the picture in the lower left box the shackle looks worn thru and the pin appears bent. Definitely a before pic.

The pics show some things that are obviously wrong. More information on where the out of whack shackle is in relation to the entire trailer/tire configuration; what pics are before and after; when lifted I assume the shackle is straight but then twists as shown in pic 2...why?; when was the pic of the worn out/bent bolt/bushing taken? Was this before or current?

Something is obviously wrong; lots of questions and I'm sure the answer to them will lead you in the direction of what went wrong.

i'd get it to a suspension place and have them deal with it. i have some thoughts but it needs to get into a place and have them deal with the issues.

My trailer's shackles are identical to yours. IMO the picture 2nd down on the left has a broken shackle. Also IMO the shackles in picture top right are not properly installed.

I broke a set of mine once while turning on pavement exceeding 60 degrees. Luckily my brother-in-law had some scrap metal and made me a couple of replacements.

All the old photos don't show anything. You have a flipped shackle and when you get it flipped back into the proper position, your tires will be spaced properly. Your spring ends should be on the upper end of all the shackles and you might be able to use a pinch bar to get them turned.

I assume these are before the shackle/wet bolt upgrade. Do you have any shots with the new shackles?

The top right picture - is there even a shackle on the one spring at the equalizer?

Would need pics of all 3 suspension hangers on this side for sure and helpful if of both sides...all six.

Something has definitely pivoted and pitched one or two axles towards the other. opcorn :

This is a triple axle so don't believe there is a shackle on the front mid axle. Tied directly to the oscillator.

His looks like your pic. Top right is the hanger that ties directly to the spring on the mid axle and the top right pic is the rear hanger like in your pic.

Though his are blue and rusty
