Just a long shot, but you may be frozen up, and the fan can't push any more air thru your cooling fins than it already is. This often happens in high humidity, when running fan on high.
Try going to fan only (no cooling) for an hour or two, and see what happens. Or if it's not too hot to stand outside, you'll get quicker results turning it off to defrost. Then try it again.
