Why not an antifreeze siphon point

I noticed when I went to winterize our new 2016 Cougar thou there were unclear directions in the water hookup compartment (confusing if you ask me) there was no place to suck thru the pump the pink stuff in unless I added a camco siphon point inside the pump area. . . for one of Keystones flagstaff models it seems a bit cheap to leave out

Hi,

I agree completely.

I just recently installed a home made siphon point. I cut the line between the holding tank and pump input. Added a Ball cock value and a "T", then reconnected to the pump input. Then on the top of the "T" I added another valve and about 3 feet of flexible tubing.

Worst part is working in that little pump compartment.

Take care,

Really, on a 2016 Cougar there is not a Winterize port to suck antifreeze into the system?

Instructions are written in Chinese by someone who knows nothing about campers and translated 3 times finally into "English".
