I thought my F350 had nearly every option available, many like the sunroof I will never use. My payload is 3434 and you could use that 434 more than me for now.

The 5er looked to be around a 37-40' so I'm guessing about 3k on the pin, unless he had some serious storage going on.

I think you should go get a refund on you SRW F350, my 2001 Ram 2500 drops maybe 1.5" with over 2,000# of pin.

People expect 3/4, and one ton TV to ride like their Lincoln, so they put in too soft of springs.

Moved my neighbors 5er to a CG as he is working and will not be home until the weekend. He will pull them and it home next week. Pin weight 2800 dry. That put over 3000# in the bed with the hitch. Loaded when moved and at the same level as when my 5er is on. It certainly does not ride like my daughter's Lincoln or my wife's Expedition. Seems like it does have a 3" comfort level which is nicer than riding on a board.

All the 1 ton trucks have the same general rear suspension design, and they all sag until the overload springs make contact and begin to support the weight. In the Ford's, it's a good 1.5" before the overload springs hit the perches.
