Placement of rear jacks

I ordered Stabilizing C jacks to replace the scissor jacks at the rear of the trailer. The scissor jacks are about 14 inches from the rear of the bumper. In addition to the main beam, I need a cross beam to bolt the new jacks to. There is a cross beam about 36 inches from the bumper, almost half way between the bumper and the rear axle. Would installing jacks at this location(about 1 1/2' forward) noticeably affect the stabilization of the rear end?
