I just concluded my first camping trip in a Virginia State Park. I chose the State Park in Westmorland. The park was kept very nicely and the staff was exceptional. Westmoreland has so much to offer. From the birthplace of Robert E. Lee and George Washington, on either side of the park, to clean beaches, swimming and fishing. The sites were very spacious and provided much shade and protection. After such a wonderful experience, more of Virginia's State Parks will be coming up on my list. My next stops though are Lancaster and Gettysburg, Pa.
