Getting there!

Was off today so took my new Eaz-Lift WDH and Husky anti sway bar out to my rv dealer. They had it and the hitch all installed in about an hour. They did a real good job. Truck is level, spring bars are level and trailer is level. Didn't get to tow it because I still need to get tow mirrors. Found new original extendable type on ebay for about $170/pair and they are the ones with power. Will order them in about 3-4 weeks and then we'll just tow the TT around locally just to get a feel for it.

Ford finally came up with a good trailer mirror, you will like it. All others I used before bounced, wiggled etc. they were hard to see much. With those on you will not need to get any others, like spot mirrors etc.

If you are not aware, they extent out for trailering. Grab the mirror and pull out about 4" max, when done push back.

I like the mirrors too no movement at all but even when extended I can't see around the awning rails that mount to the side of the trailer. Any tips? Even moving the mirror angle still doesn't help.

I have not had that problem but, I know that the angle of the seat back makes a difference. I drive a 09 E150 at the PD and most others that do are taller than me. I do not need to adjust the mirrors. I move the seat back into a more upright position and than I can see alongside the van.
