Ultra-Tow vs. X chock

Has any one used the Ultra-Tow tandem wheel chocks as an alternative to the X-chock? Northern Tool has a pair for $39.99...way less than I have found X chocks for.

Thanks

Sometimes ebay is your friend other times its a ripoff. check other auctions for xchocks and you will see some want over 100$ for a pair. I didn't think to check ebay either until after I ordered mine from amazon for 72 shipped. Not much difference but still could have saved a few dollars. anyways good luck.

You can also try the Amazon.com "clearance" department. I bought a set of standard X-chocks for $44 with free 2 day shipping (Prime member). They were described as "used" but in the description, it explained that they were new with slight surface imperfections. Went on to say the original factory packaging was damaged. When they arrived, they were still wrapped in plastic, and the "factory box" was taped on both ends. It looks like there was a hole punched in the box so they opened it to make sure nothing was damaged and sold them as used. My question would be, "How can you damage a chunk of steel?" LOL

Anyway, doublecheck here and see if these might fit your needs: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...condition=used
