Started Installing a WeBoost Drive X RV System today. Trying to find the best placement of the antennas before permanently mounting everything. To start with, I am definitely trying TechnoRV's suction Cup Mount for placing the exterior antenna. I'm not sure I want to put any holes in the roof...

Recommendations?

While I was wiring up the WeBoost System, I took advantage of the radio being pulled and wired in a switch plate with two switches, a DC voltage meter, and 4 USB ports. One of the switches is for the WeBoost system and the other switch kills power to the USB bank.

We had several power issues this summer with the high outdoor temperatures in the area and running the AC with other things at the same time. We would trip the power post breaker occasionally while the AC running, hot water heater set to electric and the fridge on shore power.

I installed a EasyStart Micro-Air Soft Starter on our AC unit (15k) and haven't had the problem since...

Not a cheap upgrade but so far it seems to be well worth it!

Yesterday I added an Under-Counter Water Filtering System with a "Dual" faucet to the kitchen island. This will save us from hauling around our filtering water pitcher.

As as long as I had on my plumbing hat, I added water shut-off valves to the kitchen faucet, water filter system, bathroom faucet, and the toilet water supply. This way if I have a problem, I don't have to shut the water off throughout the whole camper, I can just isolate the problem.

Upgraded my bedroom entertainment system. I changed my TV to a larger one, added stereo speakers (Connected to my main stereo on zone B) and a wall mount DVD player.

Added power to the kitchen vent opening and installed a Heng's Vortex II Fan insert. Our range hood doesn't exhaust to the outside, so this will help get the cooking odors out of the trailer. I also installed one in the bathroom opening, getting rid of the small vent fan that is OEM.

I am also going to be installing one in the bedroom opening soon, I just have to run 12v to the opening yet.

Lastest mod: Replaced OEM thermostat with a Micro-Air Easy Touch RV Thermostat. With this thermostat, I can program set points so during the day the AC can be running, but in the middle of the night when the temp drops way down, the furnace will kick on to take the chill off automatically. It is also programmable so we can set up schedules if we choose. The thermostat is WI-FI and Bluetooth controllable from an app on my phone.

My battery finally died this past camping weekend. I'm in the process of getting everything together to update the system to 2-6v golf cart batteries wired in series.

I have replaced 12v batteries with 2- GC2s in 2 trailers and have not had a reason to jump to Lithium batteries yet. I keep them charged and watered and they just go. I got 6.5 years out of the first set and they were still good when I sold the trailer. I'm on IIRC 4 years on the "new" trailer. We only get out a few times per year so this was a cost effective purchase for us.

I'm sure you already know to wire them in "series" & NOT "parallel" as the 12 volts were!

Yup, plan on wiring them in series. This pair is replacing a single 12v battery.
