Fuzion 405

Does anyone on this forum own a Fusion 405? If so, let me know what you think of it now. I am considering buying a new hauler. My 3612DS does not have the electric bunks in garage and my kids are growing and starting not to sleep in the loft.

We bought a 2010 405 in May. We have had it out 5 times this year and we are very happy with it.

When my son, his wife and 2 daughters come with us they take over the garage. Since the garage has it's own entrance, bathroom, queen bunk beds,TV and fridge it's like they have their own trailer.

The only problem I've had is that the fuel tank is slow to fill. I haven't had time to take it back to the dealer to have it repaired.

I do recommend that you get the 2nd a/c unit. This summer there were several days that it was over and 95 the single a/c just couldn't keep up during the day.

The 405's dry weight is around 13500 pounds and GVW is around 18500 pounds so make sure you have a truck that is up to pulling and stopping it.

We just purchased a Fuzion 405 and a Winegard carryout portable satellite dish. We have Dish network. My question is, where do you put the receiver as there really is no place in the cabinet area where the tv is in the main living area. Anyone know if it would be possible to put the receiver in the loft area? Thanks for any help.

The 405 has a second toilet room, with that, they installed a second black tank, and only one 43 gallon grey tank....so instead of 2 grey tanks for 86 gallons, and 1 43 black tank.......you end up with 86 black, and only 43 grey. That stopped me from going with the 405. Might make a diffrence to you if you boon dock.

My 2011 is parked outside.. DW can fill the galley tank in a day with the water running doing dishes. The shower was not installed correctly (fixed under warranty). The only complaint I have is it seems like I will die of old age waiting on the landing gear (front jacks). If hydraulic is an option, go for it. 2 ac's is a must. I exercise the generator every month or two, stabil in both tanks. So far the only toys I have are Thomas the tank engine, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse... The garage converts from a 12' playroom to a bedroom in a minute or two.

Looks like we are going to Turlock CA to look at this and more floor plans, this dealer has Raptor and Fuzion's in stock. It is only an hour from here so no biggie.

Does the 1/2 bath have a santi flush for the black tank? Are you happy with the second bathroom? Do you think it is a must with the kids? My DW is thinking we don't need it.

No it doesn't. Did you check Folsom Lake RV? (on the net). My last trailer was from Best RV, (Turlock). The sale was great, but 1k for the PDI (first rv)
was stupid. FLRV didn't charge for it.

Folsom stopped carrying the Fuzion line. All they carry now are the Voltages. The sales guy said something about when people came to see the Fuzions and then took a look inside the Voltages they would get caught up with all the gingerbread and buy the Voltage. Aslo something about the price of the Fuzion going up and less goodies being added was going to make it tough to sell.

I am also going there this weekend to just look at floor plans. The Camping world in Roseville is a Fuzion dealer now that Folsom Lake RV gave them up, but their selection is pretty light.

Wow, bought mine at FLRV 10 months ago...
No one said anything about dropping the line...

Well, we both like the Fuzion 375 so far. Best did not have the 412 in stock, which I wanted to see, but will be arriving on there lot in 2 weeks so we will head back then. Best RV is not the Raptor distributor anymore so I will have to figure out who is, we would like to look at those as well.

I arrived just before 9:30am and left around 10:40. Looks like I just missed you. Their web site is not current as most of the stuff I wanted to look at was sold and off the lot. Then again I don't want the monster package, so the one that I did like had the monster, so that was a no go. Salesman couldn't understand why I didn't want it. LOL. Poor guy. Once he knew I was an educated buyer and knew exactly what I wanted he unlocked every trailer and said look around until your hearts content and that he would be inside if I had any questions. I appreciated that.

He did confirm that the picnic table system is a thing of the past and every thing coming out now days will have the opposing benches with the table in between. Picnic table system was a pain to get in and out of. Looks like the ramp patios might be a thing of the past also. None of the trailers there had them and he said the Fuzions will not be getting them anymore. I know there is a 3-4 month hold on any brand getting them right now, so I wonder if that might become permanent.

Why are the drawers in the Fuzion so shallow? Could you even fit a spatula in one? I found a silverware holder/tray in a cabinet under the sink, but it was about 3 inches longer than the drawer. Where are you supposed to put that? I was hoping the 315 floorplan was going to work for us(and it still might) as there is a 4 month old used 2012 down in so cal as I was thinking of making an offer on. The one drawback is that it has the picnic table system which the wife and I don't care for. I believe the cost to convert it to the newer style bench system would kill any savings. It looks like the search continues.

The is a Raptor dealer in Ceres and Sacramento and I believe one down in the Bay. I haven't seen the 412 in stock at any of them. Most seem to stock the 300 and the 365

The Raptor dealer is Don's RV in Ceres. My father in law lives in Modesto and my mother in law passed away 3 months ago, so the wife and I are up there every 2-3 weeks to see him and take care of other things. So Don's is next!
