Crunched my 2013 Link trailer. Is it even repairable?

As a newbie trailer owner I let myself get distracted in a gas station and crunched the side of my like-new 2013 Cougar Link trailer. It seems mostly cosmetic and the slide works fine. I've had it out three or so times after the accident and everything works fine. It was a real kick in the gut.

My question: Is it even repairable at all? Would I be better off at an auto body shop or my RV dealer?

Thanks in advance.

Its all repairable. Looks like just the lower Jwrap and the slide facia need to,be replaced. Easy job, biggest expense is going to be the shipping on the Jwrap. If you can get the parts, I can probably walk you through the repair.

Thank you. That is awesome to hear. Now, where might I be able to find the parts you mentioned?

Also, I'm assuming the 'JWrap' is the underside skirting forward of the slide. Is the slide fascia you mentioned the entire outer panel of the slide?

The facia is the edge piece on the slide. Yes Jwrap is the metal skirting. It’s called that because it’s profile is like a J

Any RV service facility can order J-wrap. Many keep it in stock, usually primer coated or sometimes in popular colors. Seldom will you find it in the color you want unless it's Colonial white (off white) or Polar white (bright white). You can order it from Amazon, although it's probably much cheaper at a local RV facility. Here's an Amazon site: https://www.amazon.com/ICON-J-Panel-.../dp/B00U7TIUTW

Important thing is to measure how “wide” it is. Meaning from the floor line to the bottom edge. Nothing worse than having to reorder because it looked like 14” when it was 16”.

Crunched j- panel

I cut a corner too close coming into a campground at night couple of years ago. I raked up against a low pipe guard rail and did similar damage to my then Laredo 330RL. The service advisor told me what to measure and I took pics, measured carefully. I had to have new j-panels on either side of the vertical slide cap plus the slide cap. All the new pieces had to be painted black to match the Laredo (seems the pieces come white primed). I believe the total came to about $3500. We were living in it at the time (on temp duty with my job). Service manager worked it into the shop and got it done in 4 days. We used the 4 days to make a trip back home to check on things.
