gaskets

I need to replace the outermost gaskets on the sides of all four of my slides. This is for an '08 Challenger 34 SAQ. Anyone ever had to do this? Does anyone know the company that produced these gaskets? I'm going to call Keystone Wed. when we get home but I was hoping someone on here could help.

They're called seals. Have you looked in the go-rv online catalog? There are some listed there.

If they are a Keystone product, maybe a call to a dealer's parts counter instead of calling the factory would be a better place to start?

If your dealer's parts department doesn't have the information and parts you need, or doesn't seem helpful, try this website: http://www.trekwood.com/replacements/4285/Seal

There you'll find diagrams of all the 2008 Challenger rubber seals and pricing for each. While Trekwood is "expensive" as compared to some suppliers, I've always found the parts I need on their website. Then, using their part numbers/names/descriptions, I've often been able to search the internet for less expensive alternative sources.

Good Luck.

Than you JRTJH! I got on that website and I think they have what I need. I'll call them Tuesday and check measurements to be sure but at least there is hope!

You're welcome. There is a "sticky" at the beginning of the Repairs and Maintenance section of the forum titled: "Rv suppliers and rv parts sources". http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/showthread.php?t=12986

Although the list isn't "all inclusive" you can find almost any item you're looking for from suppliers on that list.

Why does that list ring a bell?

update

I've ordered 100' of the bulb gasket from Tiara RV Sales and expect delivery on 9/22. Price was $1.60/ft. with $78 in shipping. Can't understand the cost of shipping but I really need this gasket so I had to pay it. Weights about 10#- Hopefully, that will be enough for all four slides.
