speaker upgrade

ID:	545If you enjoy music around the campfire throw out the speakers that came installed in the camper. Just installed some Polk Audio marine grade speakers for the outside of the camper. What a difference!! Found them on sale @ Crutchfield for about $75 a pair. They are maybe 3/8" to 1/2" thicker so minor tweeks may be nessessary. Took me 30 to 45 minClick image for larger version

This is one of the first mods I made to my fiver. Yes, I had to cut small holes in the filon inside the existing enclosures to accommodate the deeper speakers. Much better sounding but not great. I have come to the conclusion the the Jensen system is a piece of junk. Oh well, I don't play it loud anyway.
