Big Daddy Parts - Worst Experience
Beware of BigDaddyParts.com!
Early last June we ordered 2 LCI window shades, which were supposed to be in stock per the website. After ordering and paying we were informed that the parts were backordered. I immediately went online and canceled the order, receiving a confirmation of the cancellation. $88, not a big deal. My money was not refunded.
In early August the parts arrived at my doorstep. I immediately contacted BigDaddy and advised them that I had canceled to order in June and that I did not now need the parts. It took them 5 weeks to issue a return label after numerous back and forth communications. I returned the parts to them on the Sept. 10th. which included giving them the package tracking number.
Here we are on November 14th and still no refund. Since Sept. 10th and now there have no fewer than 12 communications back and forth between us on their customer service system where all of this is documented. They seem incapable of proper follow up and follow through.
I am filing a dispute with the credit card company today.
So... if your considering ordering parts from these people beware of the potential for issues if there are problems with the order. In this day and age customer service like this is simply not acceptable. 5 and a half months with no resolution. Needles to say I will not be buying anything else from them.

I would get the credit card folks involved. Contest the charges.

A word to the wise will be sufficient in my case. Your post was enough for me. And be sure to head to every single social media to rate their service. Yep, it does make a difference.
On edit: These are the same people as rvpartscountry.com, camperpartsworld.com, big daddy rv.

RV Partscountry is who I ordered new A/C from... Arrived damaged. Had to return. Watched carefully for the credit to come through and I had the damaged box notated by the FedEx driver upon delivery. No issues with the return (prepaid by them) or the credit, but it taught me a lesson, go with the better known and tried and true companies (like PPL, who I ordered the second one from, no issues).

If the item was damaged in shipping, why would you decide not to use that vendor as they all use the same shippers?

Some companies repackage the items properly, place them on pallets and ship them with proper protection so the factory packaging isn't the only means of protecting the item in shipping...
Some companies, slap a shipping label on it and who cares if it gets crushed by FedEx or UPS.....
Once burned, never will I use that internet seller again... Once I hear a report like this thread, for me, "same as having a crushed item delivered to my door"..... I'm too busy (even in retirement) to risk the outcome of that kind of transaction when all I have to do is "one click" and avoid it completely.... Why would anyone (except a bored gambler) take a chance ?????

They don't. John explained it before I could. Burn me once... not twice.
