Awning cleaner Wet & Forget

Anyone used Wet and Forget for awning cleaning and maintenance? I've read online reviews that convinced me to pick some up. Our awning is still new and in near perfect shape, but I'm determined to keep this one looking better than our last!

It's my understanding that you just apply it and walk away. It supposedly keeps mold and mildew away for months to come. Anxious to see if this is the case!

Thank you for the link!! I have read about that method and plan to use that as needed.

I am thinking the Wet & Forget product can be used as a preventive measure. Hoping the awning won't develop mold and mildew as easily if we use this and in turn, maybe we won't have to use the bleach/dawn method as often. I will report back after some time!

We have never used this product - but have seen ads in magazines. Supposed to be great for home roofing and sidewalks/driveways? I would check the label to see if there are any ingredients that might be harmful to the vinyl or stitching of the awning as well as the painted surfaces of the framework. I would also check to see if it would, in any way, mar the fiberglass and decals on the side of the trailer. Let us know how it works.

Mostly just subscribing as this is an upcoming project and not one I look forward to doing a couple times a year - our awning has gotten 'wretched' this summer.
