yellow residue

I have yellow residue around the flu and burner area. What does this mean?

Your coil may have a leak. Put thermometer in fridge watch for warming.

1 Are you parked under any trees?
2 Are they dropping pollen like it's nobody's business?
3 Do you see the yellow powder anywhere else?

Also check the temp like was mentioned previous.....

Had the same problem w/mine right after i bought it used. My fridge however would not get cold at all. Turns out there was a leak and I had to have the entire fridge rebuilt. There is a lot of documentation on the web about it and all is bad. I found a place here local where I could bring them the fridge and they pulled out the coils, rebuilt and gave it back to me within a week. The rebuild cost is about cost is between 500.00-700.00 if that is the problem.
