New to us: '07 Cougar 292RKS

We live in Canton, OH and are currently at an RV park in Tucson, AZ for the winter. About a month ago we went to a local RV dealer just to "look" and ended up trading in our '99 Forest River Sierra 5th wheel for a '07 Cougar 292RKS. We like it so far except for the fact that the shower drains rather slowly. There was also a minor issue with the shower leaking into the basement, but with a little investigation and some caulk, we solved that problem, and haven't found any other issues.

We pull our 5th wheel with an '01 Ford F250 SD with a 7.3 PSD and auto transmission. I just had a Banks Six Gun tuner installed and so far, so good, but I've only got to really try it out towing our old trailer to the rv dealer, and our new one back (20 mi roundtrip).

We plan to go East on Rt 10 to Florida on our way back to Ohio. We hope to spend next winter in Florida instead of Arizona, so we're going to check out a couple of parks there for next winter. We are Dick and Vicki and have a border collie/husky mix named Nikki. Retired and enjoying life - hope you are too.

Thanks for checking us out and deciding to join our group. You will find a number of members here who have an RV similar to yours - including ourselves. You will also find a number of "envious" members who are toughing out the winter with their RV's tucked away 'til Spring - wishing we were in warmer and drier places.
Looking forward to hearing from you and welcome ---- Dick, Vicki and Nikki.
Richard - who sometimes gets called "Dick"
