Satellite function

I have an 302 fuzion and I am going to buy a tailgater dish system gor it.Will it work through the satalitte hook-up on the outside for the living room TV.Has anyone done this?

I have a VuQube 2000 and it hooks up to the satellite connection. Im sure the tailgator is basically the same way. The VuQube 2000 automatically finds the satellites you are searching, but not in motion. Hope this helps.............Happy Campin............Ron

Do you have the extra loop of cable in its on box(not the one with push button or 12v outlet) behind TV set. IF so this is your satelite and cable input. you have remove the loop of cable and find which end is inbound feed port from outside. then hook the receiver up to that port and then hook the outbound cable from receiver box to the other side cable port, this port connects over to the 12v charged side of the system.
At least that is the way it is on my unit. I have it hooked to satellite right now.
Sidebar"Playing around trying to get my receiver to work off an 18" dish dual LNB instead of the slimline dish set up. BUT cant get it to work. So I have just received a slimline SWM dish(ebay) with all hardware and triple LNB to use at campgrounds. Just have not hooked it up to the camper yet. I also got a "C" band blocker cable??? I will get it going before first trip of year. IT is so much bigger than 18"round dish. Where to store or place it during travel??"
