Home RV Pad

My wife and I took down our 18x33 above ground pool, and are trying to figure out a way to utilize the space. Our fifth wheel would fit there easily. It has a sand base. We are looking into geo cell type retention to keep blue stone from moving to create the pad. Does anyone have any experience with a job like this? Thoughts and comment appreciated.

I wonder if all that sand will be attractive to ant

Might be better to dig up the sand bed

In construction, sand is good for mixing with aggregate and cement to make concrete. It's the worst material to use as a base for a weight bearing load. Remove/replace the sand or it will be a constant maintenance issue.
