keystone replacement parts?

sorry if naïve or ignorant question as I am new to this-

we recently bought an 07 keystone cougar 289bhs and I cant seem to find replacement parts. I see parts on the internet and such but not the factory parts?

the front docking light behind the lenses, the lens itself, I assume the light can be anything but there are already holes drilled?

I wasn't sure if replacement parts were a thing or just aftermarket for stuff at this point.

Keystone only assembles the parts, they don't make any of the components that I'm aware of. That said, finding out WHO made some of those components can be challenging. If you can't find any info on the light itself then try treckwood.com . They carry a lot of the stuff but at a premium price.

Another premium price option is the dealer. They may have listings and could order an OEM item but again at a premium $$$. If OEM isn't that important, an aftermarket light that is close in size and fill the existing unused hole with an appropriate sealant.

There is a thread located at the first thread in the Repairs & Maintenance section of the forum. That thread is a comprehensive list of RV Parts and Suppliers. https://www.keystoneforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=12986

While there are a "few" OEM parts (typically decals, front caps and wheelwell "fenders", the remainder of most parts are "generic" even in the "OEM format".. What that means is that nearly all parts of an RV are interchangeable, used on multiple models and brands and can even be found on competitive models from different manufacturers.

You'll often find the same parts on Jayco, Forest River, Keystone and Grand Design trailers.

The following link will send you to a company that supplies components specifically to Keystone RV's.

Command electronics seems to make most of the lights for the RV industry.

Two travel trailers ago, after 7 years of ownership, the outside shower compartment broke. I searched all over everywhere for a replacement and had no luck at all. I took the camper to my local dealership and showed the guy in the service department what I needed. One week later he had it for me. Where he unearthed that part was beyond my comprehension! But he did it! They've had my business ever since!

Advise: check with your local dealership. They may surprise you!

I guess if you can't find them on the internet than go to a dealer and see if they can order them. You can't buy directly from Keystone.
