Your new truck looks great!

When we came to realize our trailer was just too much for our Yukon Denali, we traded it in on a GMC Sierra 3500 Denali (CC, Diesel, Dually). The first thing we did once we got the new truck home, was to run to our storage lot and hook up our trailer. We took it on about a 20 mile trip up the freeway. Wow! What a difference.

The trade-in cost us a lot of money, but that first pull with the new truck showed us we made the right choice.

Good luck.

I plan to put lots of miles on it so it will pay off. I've been through 3 trucks since 2016. 2016- F150, 2017- F250 and now this one. We use to have a travel trailer on a seasonal lot but we were getting board of the same spot so bought a 5th wheel. Didn't take long to realize my 150 wasn't good enough. Then we traded our Heritage glen for the Alpine and again needed to upsize the truck. think I'm safe now.

Cat Scale numbers

Well finally was able to get on a CAT scale and the numbers are in.

GVWR for truck 14000 lbs

Front Axle GAWR: 5990 lbs CAT 5220 lbs
Rear Axle GAWR: 9900 lbs CAT 7220 lbs
Trailer GVWR: 15000 lbs CAT 10460 lbs

Total weight on CAT scale was 22900 lbs

Looks like I'm good on my weights this was loaded heading camping with full tank of diesel but no fresh water.
