slide out of square

well I went 6 months without breaking something, I put the living room slide out, after driving 8 hours heard a noise, didn't stop until the DW said stop wtat is that noise well it was 2 small stools in the corner aginst the slide
its 2 in out of square.
I though i could take the bolt off the squars bar that connects the 2 sides
but good old keystone over tighened the bolts and both ends are striped
I hold the bolt and the nut just spins
Is there anything i can do besides cut the bolt off

Are you sure you are adjusting the correct bolt????? If you do not have the service or owners manual for your slide-out you should be able to find it here. http://www.lci1.com/index.php?option...=38&Itemid=103

hankpage looked on that site did not see manual for my slide
i took 2 pictures of the problem, first picture is the gear that i
think the slide jumped about 1 3/4 in, on this side that is the diffrents
from each side.
the next picture is the bolt and nut that is striped and i think i have to cut
it off,so i can ajust that side to match the other.

Larry, from your photo the bolt seems to be used as a shear pin. It may not be striped it may be sheared. If it is sheared you should be able to turn the head of the bolt also ???? This may sound silly ,but can you push the slide in by hand. (Or back or butt .. whichever gives most force without damage to siding. ) ???? I guess Lippert took their older manuals off that site. I will see if I can locate one for you. You have a 2011 but seems to be the same slide I have.

Hi hankpage the bolt isn't sheared yet because i can move the slide all
the way in and out there is just 1 3/4in gap at the bottom on the one side.
i hate to call a moble repair man out to the campground for something
i think i can fix by cutting the shear bolt and rotate the gear
and move the slide equal to the other side.
think that will work, they have a lowes close by i can get a new bolt.

Hi, I have been reading your thread and hope you have fixed your problem by now.
If not here is the latest link for Lippert components. http://www.lci1.com/
I have provided the link to the slides also. http://www.lci1.com/index.php?option...=38&Itemid=103

Have you called your dealer service department yet? I called mine and they talked me through my issue with my entertainment side issue.
